Higher Spin Gravity

Einstein’s gravity is a theory of massless spin two particle, namely graviton. Higher spin gravity extends Einstein’s gravity with infinitely many massless particles of arbitrary high spin. It relies on new challenging mathematics and generalizes the notion of ‘space-time’ in a novel way.

Holography (AdS/CFT correspondence)

AdS/CFT correspondence relates the physics of two completely different systems — one gravitational system in a curved spacetime (AdS) and the other (CFT) in one lower dimensions. It is a powerful framework to study various mysterious issues of quantum gravity.


Various Modifications of Gravity

Conformal Gravity

Conformal (or Weyl) gravity is a theory of gravity which enjoys not only the diffeomorphism symmetry but also the invariance under Weyl transformation. In many aspects, it is the most special and symmetric theory among various modifications of gravity. Moreover it is a renormalizable quantum theory, differently from the Einstein gravity.

Colored Gravity

Colored gravity describes multiple gravitons that are charged and gauged under a certain internal (color) symmetry. Colored gravity has very interesting potential which may cause symmetry breaking and Higgs(-like) mechanism.
